In Holier Than Thou, Jackie walks us through Scripture, shaking the dust off of hoyas we’vecome to know it and revealing it for what it really is: good news. She uses a finer brush to paint a more nuanced and beautiful picture of the holiness of God. And Jackie doesn’t just tell us, she shows us. She helps us understand that while God’s holiness is connected to His justice and His righteous anger against sin, it is also connected to so much more than that-it is meant to draw us closer. They capture the grandeur of the house, but leave off the finer details such as the WELCOME mat out front. Pictures of God's holiness have been painted with brush strokes too broad.
